Each year at this time I long for the warmth of the sun to take away the cold and the darkness of winter. I get excited to see the flowers and trees budding. It even makes me happy to see the grass go from brown to green. (though I dislike mowing) I love to hear the birds singing and to watch new life spring forth all around us.

Jesus has promised us new life too! Scripture tells us that we don’t have to walk in our old ways. We can leave our old sinful ways behind us and walk in Jesus’ love and forgiveness. We can accept the new life he offers us. We can bloom and blossom and spring forth with renewed sprits!
