CONFIRMATION 2010-2011 Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy
PARENT-STUDENT MEETING SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 12TH FOLLOWING THE LATE CHURCH SERVICE.
As the announcement above stated the class orientation will take place following the 10:30 service Sunday the 12th of September. During that meeting we will meet one another and materials will be given out to each family.
This year's class will be larger and filled with multiple experiences with the goal to reach each and every student.
Please plan on joining Pastor Brian as we get ready to kick-off an amazing year of spiritual growth for the children God has entrusted to our care.
CLASS TIMES: CLASSES WILL START AT 6:30 AND CONCLUDE AT 8:00 UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE
CLASSROOM: CLASSES WILL MEET IN THE CHURCH OFFICE BUILDING UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED
CLASS STRUCTURE: 6:30 – 6:45 - QUIZ AND ANNOUNCEMENTS 6:45-7:30 - INSTRUCTION 7:30-8:00 Small Group time
EXPECTATIONS: STUDENTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO… • Pass Tests • Hand in Sermon notes • Have quizzes and tests signed by parents • Attend confirmation instruction classes • Attend regular worship services • Acolyte
