What is our mission statement?

To JOYFULLY attract and connect people to Christ and His family... empowered by the Spirit to build meaningful ministries in each stage of life, and provide a loving and caring atmosphere for growth, healing and acceptance!

Our purpose also includes:

  • Administering the office of keys as stipulated by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
  • Teaching and equipping believers to witness to all people.
  • Providing opportunities for practicing fellowship with one another and other believers, who are in altar and pulpit fellowship with the LCMS.
  • Helping each other and other believers to grow in the word and to encourage on another in prayer.
  • Providing opportunities and encouragement for believers to serve in Christian love the needs of all people.

    Here is how to get a hold of us. Friendship Lutheran Church of Joy (LCMS) is located on the corner of Duncan Road and Curtis Road at 3601 S. Duncan Road, Champaign, IL 61822. The office phone number is (217)355-0454. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 3:00pm.
